On this Mother’s Day in Haiti, DFI takes an opportunity to honor all mothers worldwide, particularly in Haiti. While some children are privileged to be loved by their mothers, sadly, others are not. Our thoughts go towards these vulnerable children who lost their moms or were abandoned by their family members. With the love of Jesus, DFI has the privilege of serving these children who lost all. No one can replace a birth mother; in any respect, with the committed staff and the participation of donors and sponsors, over 90 boys and girls found their homes under the DFI shelter. It is the great calling from God for us to give love, empowerment, and hope to those children.

So many children are on the street in Haiti, still seeking help and motherhood for their lives. Your commitment and support make a tremendous difference in their lives and give protection to the children still seeking shelter. Together, we keep censuring a brighter future for these children while honoring the memory of the extraordinary mothers who will always hold a special place in our hearts.
