Did you know that a pair of shoes can tell a story? Shoes can tell you were you’ve been, where you’re going, and can allow you to live in the moment. Shoes let us walk to school, play games with our friends, run, and do sports, and express ourselves every step of the journey. Each pair of shoes we outgrow represents how far we have come, a hole in the sole of our shoe reminds us of playing outside with friends until sunset, the dirt on our laces shows the adventures we have had… a pair of shoes is not just a pair of shoes… they are the beginning of a story. By donating a pair of shoes for the girls and boys in our Agape children’s transition homes, you are helping creating stories, make memories, and help equip each child to take the first steps in their journey of mental, physical, and spiritual development.
