AGAPE school

Agape School is an exceptional educational institution dedicated to providing opportunities for street children who have been left behind in formal education and entered Haiti’s educational system later in life. Through a specialized Accelerated program developed by Haiti’s Ministry of National Education, we enable these children to complete the first six years of elementary school within just three years.

At Agape School, we are committed to ensuring that every child receives access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. Our accelerated program bridges educational gaps quickly, laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning and success.

Through Agape School, we are transforming the lives of street children by equipping them with the tools they need to build a brighter future. Together, we are creating a world where every child has an equal opportunity to realize their potential and achieve their dreams.

Girls in technology

In line with our commitment to education, we have established Girls in Technology, a vocational school designed specifically for young girls. This program empowers them to acquire technical skills related to technological development, positioning them as future leaders in their communities.

Historically, girls in Haiti have faced limited opportunities and are often funneled into traditional roles such as sewing, cooking, or secretarial work. Recognizing this disparity, Girls in Technology seeks to break societal barriers by training a new generation of strong, independent women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and digital innovation.

Our curriculum equips girls with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in technical fields, challenging gender stereotypes and fostering equality. By nurturing their talents and building their confidence, we prepare them for successful careers and leadership roles in traditionally male-dominated industries.

At Girls in Technology, we believe every girl deserves equal opportunities and the freedom to pursue her passions in the technology sector. Together, we are shaping a future where girls thrive, contribute to innovation, and emerge as strong leaders driving progress in their fields.

School support

At Development for Freedom International (DFI), we believe in the power of collaboration to improve Haiti’s educational system. Beyond Agape School, we actively support schools across the country, offering both financial and technical assistance to foster a stronger foundation for education.

In areas such as Montrouis, Arcahaie, and Ganthier, we contribute to teacher salaries, ensuring quality education remains accessible to students. In Port-au-Prince, we provide educational materials and food provisions to schools, recognizing the critical role that nutrition plays in children’s health and academic success.

Our efforts are driven by a commitment to strengthening Haiti’s education system and creating nurturing environments where students can thrive. By investing in education and working together with local communities, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and pave the way for a brighter, more equitable future.
