At Development for Freedom International (DFI), we are committed to advancing women’s empowerment through transformative programs that foster self-sufficiency and leadership development. Our two primary initiatives are:

“Libere”: Advancing Women’s Economic Independence
The Libere program, meaning “freedom,” is a cornerstone of our efforts to empower women and promote self-sufficiency. This initiative provides vulnerable women, particularly single mothers, with mentorship, training, and financial resources to launch small businesses or engage in sustainable practices such as animal breeding.
By offering startup credit and ongoing support, Libere helps women build economic independence and develop entrepreneurial skills. We monitor their progress through periodic assessments and provide tailored mentorship to ensure their success.
Additionally, the program creates opportunities for women who have had limited access to education or professional training, enabling them to achieve self-sufficiency and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
Women’s Leadership Training: Building Leaders for Tomorrow
At DFI, we believe in the transformative power of women as agents of positive change. Our Women’s Leadership Training program is designed to equip women with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to lead effectively in their communities. Grounded in Christian values, this program fosters personal empowerment, advocacy, and collaboration, laying the foundation for sustainable community development.
