GIRLS TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL
In Haiti, women face substantial barriers to participation in the technology sector. Unlike fields such as cosmetology, cooking, hospitality, and food services—where female representation is more prominent—opportunities for women in technology remain scarce.
Cultural norms and social pressures often steer Haitian women toward “conventionally feminine” careers, discouraging them from exploring technology-related fields, which are frequently viewed as male-dominated. This disparity limits their potential and perpetuates gender inequities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and digital innovation.
To address these challenges and empower young Haitian women, we have acquired land in the heart of Port-au-Prince, where we envision building a technology school exclusively for girls. This school will provide the resources, education, and support necessary to equip them with skills in STEM and digital innovation, enabling them to succeed in technology-driven careers.
This initiative seeks to challenge gender stereotypes, create equal opportunities, and cultivate a generation of female leaders in technology who will shape Haiti’s future.
We warmly invite you to support this transformative project and join us in empowering the next wave of innovators and leaders. Together, we can make a lasting impact by investing in the potential of young Haitian women. Thank you for your consideration and partnership.
AGAPE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT
Since its inception in 2013, Agape School has been dedicated to providing quality education, love, and support to children in Haiti, focusing on their holistic development and nurturing their God-given talents. The school offers an accelerated program that compresses six years of elementary education into three years, alongside nutritious meals and spiritual guidance. Currently, Agape School serves 34 children, with a vision to expand its reach to accommodate more street children and those from low-income families.
The Agape School Building Project aims to construct a new facility with 14 classrooms, enabling the school to welcome an additional 280 students. This initiative seeks to break the cycle of poverty and remove educational barriers for disadvantaged children by offering them access to quality education and comprehensive support.
Join us in shaping Haiti’s future by empowering its next generation. Support the Agape School Building Project today and help us transform lives through education.
CHURCH PLANTING PROJECT
Churches play an integral role in fostering spiritual growth and community well-being. They provide spaces for worship, teaching, support, and service, becoming centers of renewal and transformation. At DFI, we are committed to expanding God’s Kingdom by planting new churches, particularly in remote areas of Haiti where the Gospel has yet to reach.
Through strategic planning and by equipping and empowering local leaders, we establish churches that transform lives, form disciples, and positively impact communities. These congregations serve as anchors of hope, cultivating faith and bringing the message of Christ’s love to underserved regions.
We invite you to join us in this mission to plant seeds of faith, nurture thriving congregations, and bring lasting hope to the world—one church at a time.
TRUITIER SCHOOL
In Truitier, Cité Soleil, one of Haiti’s poorest and most dangerous areas, is a school founded in 2018. Currently, 150 children, most of whom were restaveks (child servants), attend the school.
In the area, there are around 400 children who don’t have the possibility of attending school, suffer from malnutrition and spend their time sifting through and picking up garbage. DFI wants to help these children by enabling them to attend school, provide food for them and hope for a better future.
Traditionally, Haitian women are often steered towards careers in sectors considered more “conventionally feminine”. Social pressures and cultural norms can discourage them from exploring fields such as technology, which are often perceived as the preserve of men.
To address this disparity and empower young Haitian women, We have a land in the center of Port-au-Prince On which we are praying to build a technology school for girls, in order to give them the means to act in the field of technology by creating a school focused on STEM and digital innovation. This initiative aims to challenge gender stereotypes and provide equal opportunities to girls in traditionally male-dominated fields.
We invite you to support this project and join us in empowering the next generation of female leaders in technology. Thank you for your consideration and support.
Through strategic planning, equipping and empowering local leaders, DFI aims at expanding God’s Kingdom by establishing new churches, where lives can be transformed, disciples can be formed and communities can be positively impacted. We want to spread the Gospel by planting new churches in remote areas of Haiti where people are not yet receiving the good news of Jesus Christ.
Join us as we plant seeds of faith, cultivate thriving congregations and bring hope to the world, one church at a time.
